Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You sign in with a wallet on Robinhood Chain by signing a message; that wallet is your account. You are responsible for keeping control of it and for the lawfulness of anything you post or submit.

A creator writes a brief, sets a prize pool and funds it in USDG into the Sidequest escrow contract on Robinhood Chain. We review every bounty before it goes public and may decline any task that is unsafe, unlawful, or unworkable, in which case the creator is refunded in full. Anyone may enter an approved bounty. The Sidequest operator selects the winners; a creator's starred picks are advisory only. When the operator signs the payout, the contract pays each winner and sends the fee to the treasury.

Only submit content you created and have the right to share. You must have permission to record any location or person that appears, and you must not include private third parties, home addresses, copyrighted media you do not own, or anything unlawful. Staged, plagiarised or AI-generated work passed off as your own forfeits eligibility.

You keep ownership of what you submit. By entering a bounty you grant the bounty creator a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your entry for the purpose described in the brief, and you grant Sidequest the right to display it on the board. You grant no rights to anything you do not submit.

Pools are denominated in USDG and held by a smart contract whose transactions are public on Robinhood Chain. The contract keeps a fee (10% at the time of writing, fixed when the bounty is funded) and pays it to the treasury when winners are paid. Refunds return the full deposit, fee included. Blockchain transactions are irreversible; check the amount and the address before you sign. You are responsible for any taxes on what you win.

A bounty that fails review is refunded to the wallet that funded it. If a funded bounty is not reviewed within the stale window set in the contract (60 days at launch), the creator may claim the full deposit back directly from the contract. Refunds are not possible once winners have been paid.

$SIDE, the Sidequest token, once launched, is a utility and coordination token for the network. Part of the treasury's fee income funds bounties for content about $SIDE, and part may be used to buy $SIDE on the open market. It is not a security, an investment contract, or a promise of profit, and nothing on this site is financial advice. Token mechanics may change. Any participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

No fraud, deception or manipulation; no fake entries; no infringement of anyone's intellectual property; no manipulation of judging, likes or replies; no scraping; no attempts to identify other users. Violations can result in rejected entries, forfeited winnings and a ban.

Entrants and creators are independent participants, not employees, agents or contractors of Sidequest or of each other. Entering a bounty creates no employment relationship. You are responsible for your own equipment, safety and compliance with local law.

The site and the escrow contract are provided "as is". Smart contracts can contain bugs, networks can fail and wallets can be compromised; you use them at your own risk. Sidequest is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sidequest is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
